This featured project
was developed to provide curb appeal, guest parking and a private rear
garden with a lap pool. This design is an example of our swimming pool
design philosophy; the swimming pool should be a garden feature that is
used for swimming and should be visible from the main living space of
the house so that it can be enjoyed visually all year. This property has
a shallow rear yard with a ten-foot rear setback and slopes across the
yard. With a retaining wall we were able to set this pool as close as
possible to the rear lot line and maximize the remaining yard area. Instead
of the slope being a negative factor, we were able to add a retaining
wall that becomes an added garden element with brick column urn pedestals
and a brick column water feature. |
